I began my working life at a prestigious Merchant Bank in the City of London. In the following years I worked for a number of well known city institutions including Merchant Banks, Stockbrokers and Investment Banks. During my career I managed a number of teams and developed high levels of computer literacy and financial management skills as well as strong customer relationship and communication skills.
In May 2002, after working for 19 years in the Financial Services Industry, I opted for a change of career and lifestyle and moved to Thailand where I opened my own professional scuba diving company.
Many of the skills and knowledge I gained in my previous career helped me to grow the business and along the way I learned and developed many new attributes which became invaluable to both running the business and to my personal development and skill set.
I lived in Thailand managing the business and conquering the challenges that came with maintaining a successful company for the next 17 1/2 years until returning to UK in November 2019.
